After a hard summer rain in the County the air has a distinct odor.  People say it's the smell of ozone but it's clean and fresh and is one of those odors that always reminds me of little league baseball games at the W.C. Foster school in the 70s.

    I look forward to smelling that after-the-rain scent again on a summer day. Today we are smelling more snow and freezing rain. At least it is above zero!
